Roarrr! This week calls all dinosaur and Jurassic Park fans! Camp runs Monday 8/17 through Friday 8/21 from 9am-12:30pm. Please note this listing will only show one day but by registering you are signing up for the whole week!
This camp is for kids ages 7-13. Each week will feature 7 projects (not all projects are shown): a tie-dye and silkscreen shirt, canvas painting, handbuilding with clay, wheel throwing with clay, paint your own pottery, a drawing lesson, and fused glass. Each week will also get a drawing journal and have opportunities for mini crafts for any campers that finish projects early. When we are able, we will go to the red and blue park (we will not go if it's storming or the "feels like" temp is above 95 degrees and instead will watch a movie or draw inside).
Arrival is between 8:45-9:00am, art time will be from 9am-11:45am, clean-up from 11:45-12pm, and then we will be outside from 12pm till pick-up at 12:30pm. If you do not want your camper going to the park, or you'd like to drive them, please arrive promptly at 12pm. Otherwise pick-up will be at the red and blue park - address 300 Kirks Court, Rising Sun, MD 21911.
Cost of the camp is $250. A $50 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is due at sign-up. This deposit counts towards your camp balance. It can be transferred or credited if you need to cancel so long as you do so before the remaining balance is charged. It will not be refunded for any reason, including signing up for this RISING SUN, MD camp when you meant to sign-up for the Art Den in Nazareth, PA! The balance of camp will be charged to the card used to pay the deposit on the Friday before camp starts. That's Friday, August 14th for this camp. If you'd like to pay the balance in person, that can be done any time after May 1st and up to the Thursday before camp starts.
Please make sure your camper has a water bottle and a snack for camp and wears clothes that can be stained. Electronics are "bring at your own risk" - The Art Den LLC is not responsible for camper's personal belongings.
